About Us
Fred and Donna Jacob are the owners of Jacob Marketing, Inc. (JMI) and have been married for 38 years. Their first magazine publication, Here Comes the Bride, was published in 1991 in Knoxville, Tennessee. This first wedding magazine was 5.5 by 8.5 inches and included monthly timetables and checklists for brides.
Twenty years later, JMI now publishes The Pink Bride, a 9×12-inch magazine serving five markets across the state of Tennessee with hundreds of local pictures, wedding stories, and planning advice from many of Tennessee’s best wedding professionals. The Pink Bride magazines are complemented by the largest bridal shows in Tennessee, our blog, and social media efforts which offer online exposure for Tennessee wedding professionals as well as access to an online version of each publication.
Over the past twenty years, the publication has grown to include local issues in Nashville, Chattanooga, Tri-Cities, and Memphis, in addition to the original Knoxville location. These five issues are printed twice a year in each area.
Jacob Marketing, Inc. decided to begin producing bridal shows in 2000. The shows began in Knoxville and have now expanded to two per year in Knoxville, Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, Tri-Cities, and Murfreesboro — a total of twelve shows per year.

Fred Jacob is the CEO and President of Jacob Marketing, Inc. and lives with wife Donna in Knoxville, TN. He is the Publisher of The Pink Bride Magazine and Producer of the largest bridal shows in the Southeast – the Pink Bridal Shows!
Contract Manager & Editor
Donna Jacob
Donna Jacob works along Fred with Jacob Marketing, Inc. She serves as Contract Manager for The Pink Bride and is Editor for The Pink Bride Magazines, assisting in layout design, photo selections, and content development. Donna also assists in the design and production of all Pink Bridal Shows.
Vice President
Allison Jacob
Allison Jacob is the Vice President of Jacob Marketing, Inc. and lives in Memphis, TN. She moved to Memphis in 2005 and launched The Pink Bride Magazine and Pink Bridal Shows shortly thereafter.
Allison’s passion for food and wine led her to develop Cork iT magazine in early 2011. This magazine is Jacob Marketing’s newest endeavor and is published quarterly.
Allison graduated, in 2005, from UT Knoxville with a double major in Finance and Marketing. In her spare time, she is an avid globetrotter, football fanatic, fitness lover, and is always on the lookout for great food and exceptional wine!
Assistant to the Vice President
Elizabeth Jones
Elizabeth began her journey with Jacob Marketing, Inc. as an advertising wedding professional and came to work for the company full-time in Memphis over two years ago. She works diligently alongside the Memphis publisher to serve the local market and enjoys being the first contact for Memphis professionals. Elizabeth assists with managing and updating all accounts for the area on a regular basis. She loves to spend her weekends browsing flea markets and estate sales when not spending time with her two children and two grandchildren.
Elizabeth has lived in Memphis for nearly all of her life and graduated from the Memphis College of Art.
Chattanooga & Knoxville Advertising Director
Kara Lovett
Kara Lovett is the advertising director for Chattanooga and Knoxville, Tennessee. Kara works very closely with the premiere wedding professionals in Chattanooga and Knoxville to design a marketing plan that fits their needs and budget. She enjoys cultivating relationships with her clients and helping them connect with local brides. Kara is mom to Joshua and Millie, and you can often find her at Rocky Hill Elementary School volunteering in their classrooms. She and her husband met while attending the University of Tennessee and are happy to call Knoxville home.
Marketing Executive
Anna Ferguson
Anna specializes in client relationships and website administration across all markets with an added focus on sales in Nashville, Tennessee. Anna oversees our fashion shows as well as the marketing and production of the Pink Bridal Shows. She is a mom of two boys and you will often find her at the soccer field cheering them on. Anna has been with The Pink Bride for over six years and enjoys working with the amazing wedding professionals of Tennessee.
Nashville Advertising Contact & Writer
Ashlan Bonnell
Ashlan is a new advertising contact for the Nashville market and also is a blogger for The Pink Bride. A newlywed and recent graduate of Lipscomb University, Ashlan holds a degree in English Professional Writing and received her minor in Journalism and New Media. A passionate writer, Ashlan loves weddings and writing about them. On top of writing, she loves to read, play and watch sports, cook and spend time with her husband, Andrew, and Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier puppies, Winnie Boa and Winston.
Production Manager
Karen Tobias
Karen Tobias is the Production Manager of Jacob Marketing, Inc. Karen has a passion for art and design and loves working in the wedding industry. Karen graduated, in 2005, from Maryville College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In her spare time she loves spending time out doors and coaching and playing volleyball.
Social Media Director, Blog Manager, & Writer
Andrea McKee
Andrea McKee directs all social media efforts for The Pink Bride, manages the blog, assists in public relations and web presence development, and regularly writes and edits content for both the blog and the magazines. She loves to read and cook, spend time with her husband, and learn about new trends in the world of weddings!
Andrea is a University of Tennessee Certified Wedding Coordinator and holds two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Marketing Management and Corporate Finance and Investments from East Tennessee State University.

Sydney Atchley
Sydney Atchley has always had a love for all things weddings, which initially led her to becoming an intern for The Pink Bride during Summer 2012. She loves trying new crafts, experiencing a new hiking trail, and cozying up with a good book! Sydney is an English Literature major and Writing/Communication minor at Maryville College. She plans to graduate in 2014 and is so very excited to begin her career in the wedding industry with The Pink Bride!

Kathleen Panozzo
Kathleen enjoys writing and learning about all the different aspects of wedding planning and looks forward to contributing regularly to the blog. Kathleen also loves music, reading, painting, traveling, and the Italian language. She is originally from Michigan but has lived in the Nashville area for five years now. Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Music Business from Belmont University.
