How did you meet?
“We met in middle school, but we started dating when we were 15 and in our sophomore year of high school.”

What is your favorite quality in your husband?
“He is patient and kind to everyone he meets.”

Who said ‘I love you’ first?
“It’s hard for me to remember, but I think he did.”

When did you know you were falling in love?
“I realized we were falling in love when we found ourselves talking about the future we hoped to have together. I knew that he was the one I wanted to love forever and have this future with.”

Favorite aspect of your wedding?
“The flowers! I loved the colors and how they perfectly went along with the bohemian vibes.”

Did you do a first look?
“Yes we did, and I highly recommend it! The first look was one of my favorite parts of my wedding day. It was such a special moment that Garrett and I won’t forget. I wanted to make sure that our pictures didn’t feel rushed and it allowed us to be with our guests and head to the reception immediately after the ceremony. With my wedding being in the summer, it was very warm outside. I was able to touch up my hair and makeup before and after pictures which was also so helpful.”

Was there a part of your wedding that held a personal significance to you or your spouse?
“Garrett and I love music. It was important to us that the music we played during our ceremony was special to us. Bluegrass music in particular has a special place in my heart because it’s the music that I grew up listening to with my grandparents. It was very special to have bluegrass players during the ceremony to play our favorite hymns.”

Did you have a signature cocktail? What was it?
“Our caterer put together both a white wine sangria and a red wine sangria. It went along perfectly with the Mexican cuisine that we shared. People still tell us about how much they loved the sangria!”

Did you have any specific design inspiration for your big day?
“I love anything and everything bohemian and I also love greenery. I chose light and airy colors for the bridesmaids dresses and linens to give the wedding a natural, light, and bohemian look. I wanted the ceremony and the reception to reflect the beautiful nature that surrounded us at the venue.”

What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?
“When my parents got married, my dad sang her the song “I Will Be Here” by Michael W. Smith. I had always dreamed of my dad singing that song during my first dance at my own wedding, and that’s what he did! It was so special.”
Tell us about your grand exit!
“A sparkler send off was what I had always dreamed of, and we were able to make that dream come true. Everyone loved the sparklers and the pictures and video turned out beautiful!”

What was the hardest part of wedding planning?
“The hardest part of wedding planning was turning the visions I had for design and detail and turning it into a reality. Thankfully my amazing vendors and wedding coordinator were able to help me make that happen!”
What has surprised you most during the first few months of marriage?
“It’s amazing how much more of an opportunity you have to serve and show love to your spouse when you are married. It’s definitely allowed our relationship to grow tremendously!”
What do you look forward to most as newlyweds?
“We are simply excited to do life together. Getting married young and having been high school sweethearts, we have been able to go through so many life phases together already, and we are so excited to continue to go through new life phases together as well.”

Congratulations Molly & Garrett!
