How did you meet?
“At Tennessee Tech University in History 2.”
What is your favorite quality in your husband?
What traditions did you incorporate?
“We had the father walking daughter down the aisle, cake cutting, father daughter/mother son dance, bouquet throwing, and garter toss.”
Did you have a specific theme or design inspiration for your big day?
“Whimsical, natural, & elegant.”
How about your dress or attire?
“My gown was Kenneth Winston Ella Rosa. I bought the dress at Lillian Ruth Bride in Knoxville, TN.”
What was the most memorable moment?
“During the ceremony prayer, David put his forehead against mine and I could feel how momentous this commitment was and how invested we both were to pour ourselves into our marriage.”
What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?
“‘The Way You Look Tonight’ by Tony Bennett. We picked this song because it is a beautiful song about love and said everything we wanted to say to each other.”
Tell us about your grand exit!
“We exited after lots and lots of dancing surrounded by the twinkling light of sparklers. We drove away in my convertible that was decorated by our wedding party.”
Best wishes Mary & David from all of us at The Pink Bride!
