Fred and Donna Jacob are the proprietors of Jacob Marketing, Inc. (JMI) and have been married for 42 years. Their first magazine publication, Here Comes the Bride, was published in 1991 in Knoxville, Tennessee. This first wedding magazine was 5.5 by 8.5 inches and included monthly timetables and checklists for brides. My, how things have changed….
Twenty-six years later, JMI now publishes The Pink Bride, a 9×12-inch magazine serving five markets across the state of Tennessee, with hundreds of local pictures, wedding stories, and planning advice from many of Tennessee’s finest wedding professionals. The Pink Bride magazines are complemented by the largest wedding shows in TN and AL (as well as the Southeast), our interactive blog, and our social media efforts – which offer online exposure for our wedding pros, as well as access to an online version of each publication.
Over the past twenty-five years, the Pink Bride publication has grown to include local issues in Nashville, Chattanooga, Tri-Cities, and Memphis, in addition to the original Knoxville location. These five issues are printed twice a year in each area.
Focused on personal connections, Fred Jacob began producing wedding shows in 2000. The shows began in Knoxville and have now expanded to two or more per year in Knoxville, Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, the Tri-Cities, and Birmingham, AL.
JMI works full-time to connect engaged couples with the most qualified wedding pros. Our mission is to encourage and facilitate the best wedding experience possible for all those planning their special day.
We say YES to love!
