I don’t know about you, but we were welcoming spring with open arms! There’s nothing better than this bright, colorful wedding in Knoxville to do so either! We are completely obsessed with the simple, cheerful design paired with bold colors for this pair. Brittany and Kyle incorporated modern details like their invitation suite, custom-made attire, and a donut tower with time-old traditions for a truly unique day. Let’s not forget the cutest wedding cake on a sea glass stand too! See more of this wedding with behind-the-scenes commentary from the groom!
How did you meet?
“A mutual friend visiting Knoxville introduced us over dinner.”
What traditions did you incorporate?
“It was very important to us to see each other for the first time during our ceremony, so we did not have a first look. Brittany’s father gave her away at the wedding which was a special moment. We also included a first dance, mother/son, father/daughter dances, and wedding party toasts.”
Did you have a specific theme or design inspiration for your big day?
“Our wedding was full of vibrant colors, foliage, and candlelight.”
How about the dress or attire?
“Brittany’s dress started as separates from two different designers that were later sewn together. She fell in love with the modern lace top and included her grandmother in the wedding dress shopping to make sure it got her stamp of approval! My suit was custom-made. I wanted a color that stood out and accessories that fit my love for vintage style.”
What was the most memorable moment?
“Seeing each other for the first time as she walked down the aisle.”
Tell us about your grand exit!
“We planned a confetti toss exit during the ceremony. The large, colorful confetti made for a cheerful and memorable moment.”
Best wishes Brittany & Kyle!
