We had an absolute blast with the huge number of guests that attended The Pink Bride’s Chattanooga Pink Bridal Show on July 20th! The bridal show lasted from 11am to 4pm at the Chattanooga Convention Center. As usual, I was there with my camera to capture the day from start to finish! Here are a few of my favorite highlights.
Pink Bridal Shows don’t just happen. As the area’s largest bridal show, the Chattanooga Pink Bridal Show takes a great deal of preparation and attention to detail to make successful! That’s why it’s filled to the brim with amazing advice, swag, yummy food and drinks, as well as show-stopping fashion shows and exclusive specials. Wedding vendors begin setting up their space the day before the show and continue throughout the morning before brides arrive!
It was easy to swoon over the chic black-and-pink décor on and around the stage, with specialty lighting and drapery courtesy of Luma Designs and linens courtesy of White Table! Sound Force Entertainment provided the rock-star sound and media support throughout the event. The front entrance to the show also included a stunning floral creation by Flowers by Tami! Special thanks to these pros for helping make the day so fabulous.
Pink Bridal Shows always boast a mecca of wedding inspiration for the modern bride, and this season’s Chattanooga Pink Bridal Show certainly didn’t disappoint. Check out a few of my favorite details below!
This season’s Chattanooga Pink Bridal Show certainly didn’t disappoint in number of attendees, either. As one of the largest Summer Pink Bridal Shows ever, the brides and their guests began arriving before 10am – over an hour before the show started!
Brides once again enjoyed Pink Bridal Bucks and the opportunity to save big with exclusive show-only specials only available to show attendees. Many brides came to the show ready and willing to book right there because of these exclusive deals.
Once the doors opened at 11am, brides and grooms began walking the aisles eagerly, ready to find the perfect wedding pros for their big day.
While snapping a few photos of the Impressions Catering booth, I caught them making fresh s’mores and definitely got sidetracked by how good it looked. They gave me the sample you see being made in this picture – and it made my morning! So delish! (Thanks, guys!)
Many brides and grooms even got refreshments at the full bar and concession stand near the fashion show stage.
The Pink Room once again took up residence at the show in the back corner and boasted a wide range of products for the bride and groom to peruse. From the ever-popular Pink Shirt Collection to the fun bridal party sunglasses, koozies, and even thermal wine bottle carriers, guests swarmed the area throughout the show.
Before the first fashion show, Fred did a little blurb about a few of the items available over in the Pink Room.
The David’s Bridal and Men’s Wearhouse fashion show happened at 1pm! Everyone enjoyed lounging in the comfy chairs around the stage while a few of the season’s newest styles walked the runway.
Before the second fashion show, Fred selected mother-daughter duos for a super fun dance-off contest that was hilarious! One mother and daughter won the popular vote afterwards, but everyone ended up as a winner!
Afterwards, he pulled a few couples on stage for a little surprise! Check out the video to see what they won.
The second fashion show at 3pm featured styles from Ever After Bridal, Boutique Couture, and Monica’s, all of which are premier bridal shops in Chattanooga.
After the second fashion show, the amazing prizes and giveaways happened! Fred drew names from the registered guests to choose winners of the cash prizes, ranging from $100 to $400. Congrats to all the winners!
Don’t miss the next Chattanooga Pink Bridal Show on January 25, 2015, at the Chattanooga Convention Center!
