How did you meet?
“We both grew up in Nashville and met during high school. We continued dating throughout college at Vanderbilt and got married after graduate school.”

What is your favorite quality in your husband?
“My favorite quality is how genuine and caring Andrew is to everyone in his life. He makes everyone feel like they are the most important person in the room and really takes each moment to appreciate that time with you. He always thinks of me and has small ways to make me happy every day.”

Did you have a specific theme or design inspiration for your big day?
“The most important theme for the wedding was white. I had the bridesmaids choose their own white dresses, but my identical twin was my maid of honor so her white dress couldn’t have a train or lace because that could get confusing for the guests!”

How about your dress or attire?
“My brides man Kyle was the most influential person when I shopped for dresses with my bridesmaids. The girls were all so kind and helpful but it’s hard not to think what you would want to wear when someone else is trying on dresses! When I came out in my dress he could tell I was comfortable and he said it just felt like me. It was perfect!”

What was the most memorable moment?
“The most memorable moment was when I was about to walk down the aisle with my Dad. I wasn’t nervous or stressed, it just felt perfectly right. Andrew and I had been together for so long it was a moment that had been 10 years in the making, but it felt like our lives were finally beginning.”

Happy Ever After Meryl & Andrew!
