Whitney & Caleb’s colorful fall wedding mixes a rustic setting with natural decor, gorgeous florals, and some furry friends too. Honestly, what could be better? How about Katrina Serene Photography capturing it all?! Start scrolling to see all of this couple’s sweet day with some behind-the-scenes details from the bride!

How did you meet?
“Trampoline dodgeball! Seriously! It really does exist and it’s exactly what it sounds like!”

When did you know you were falling in love?
“When I heard him trying to sing Michael Jackson as we were kayaking down the river.”

Did you have a specific theme or design inspiration for your big day?
“The view from the chapel at Nolichuckey Bluffs is spectacular and we wanted to make sure we didn’t take anything away from it. We really just tried to play off of what was already there and use more natural types of decoration like moss, tree stumps and twigs.”

What was the most memorable moment?
“We spent several weekends leading up to the wedding staying in the Nolichuckey Bluffs Cabins in preparation for the big day. While visiting, we met and grew particularly fond of Nola, the husky that lives on property. When the wedding day finally came and we exited the chapel following the ceremony, we looked down the aisle and Nola was laying at the other end. She was waiting patiently to congratulate us!”
And their cute pup was there too!

What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?
“‘Then’ by Brad Paisley. The acoustic version!”

Best wishes Whitney & Caleb!
