Misty Ross and Tyler Childers
How Rebecca, the photographer, describes the wedding…
This wonderful wedding had a country theme (as a lot here do in the Tri-Cities). The couple were so beautiful. They also have the cutest little boy named Mason who is a little over a year old. Her dress, the details, everything was gorgeous, and the weather was perfect.
The details, as told by Misty!
The Love Story:
Tyler and I met the first day of our freshman year at Daniel Boone in English class. Since the second we first met, we knew it was something great. We were always best friends through high school and always said that one day we would get married. We never would date in high school though because we were terrified to lose our friendship. After high school, we drifted apart for a while but reconnected after Tyler sent me an email over our school’s site. It was history from there. We started spending all our time together and were inseparable. Soon after, we had the greatest blessing come along. Our son Mason was born. We waited to get married until I had finished school. We finally tied the knot on September 14th, 2013.
One word. It was chaos! I was stressed to the max. I was a DIY bride all the way, but I did my research and was blessed with the most amazing DJ, caterer, photographer, violinist and preacher. Not to mention the venue was outstanding! I couldn’t have pictured a more perfect day.
Advice for Future Brides:
Try to have as little stress as possible. Easier said than done, I know, but in the end, everything will get done in its time and be more beautiful than you could have ever dreamed. After all the stress, my wedding was picture perfect, and I married the man of my dreams!
