In honor of this time of year, we present one of the coziest weddings we’ve ever seen! November (Thanksgiving in particular) seems centered on good food and family time, and we love both of those. We also love to see fall weddings that are happening now too! Because don’t food and family make for a pretty great wedding as well? Below we’ve broken down how to carry on the coziness of the season to your big day!
A color palette with warm colors screams fall and coziness! It not only mimics the surrounding foliage, but also enhances it simultaneously. Talk about a gorgeous setting! We also love adding a pop of a complementary color like this lovely blue shade! It stands out on its own, and offers a nice balance to avoid fall overload. Other colors you can do this with are merlot and navy!
November can’t go by without talking about, tasting, and sharing delicious grub! Am I right?! And in general, one thing that nearly every wedding guest remembers is their meal. Depending on your theme and budget, we advise sticking to foods that you love. Your wedding day is not the day to venture out in food preferences. It’s also a good tip to keep in mind what your guests will eat too and of any allergies! For a sentimental touch, you can also have one aspect be reflective of a special time between the two of you or someone special in your lives. This bride had her wedding cake based on her mom’s recipe in tribute to her late mother, and yes, you know we are holding back tears!
Since the weather tends to dip a little bit during this time (and in some places in the South becomes bearable finally), activities for your guests are wonderful ideas! Think cornhole, fire pits, and smore stations!
