How did you meet?
“We met on Match.com!”
When did you know you were falling in love?
“We both tread lightly and let it develop slowly but most likely after our first trip together (about 6 months) to Budapest, Hungary! He wanted to know if I could travel well! I was stellar!.”

What is your favorite quality in your husband/wife?
Tricia: “My favorite qualities in Mark are his strength, perseverance, & passion.”
Mark: “My favorite qualities in Tricia are her strength, independence, her loving heart, and perceptions all wrapped with an unwavering Faith in God.”

What traditions did you incorporate?
“We incorporated eating together as a tradition. Mark and I usually prepare and eat our meals every night as husband and wife. We wanted our family and friends to celebrate with us in this tradition. So we gathered for 3 nights in a row over dinner, including the wedding night, to enable everyone to meet and enjoy one another’s company.”

Did you have a specific theme or design inspiration for your big day?
“Our inspiration was to be elegant, without fuss, and masculine on what is typically a feminine day.”

How about your dress or attire?
“I had Italian made dresses in mind; curves to fit the body shape with an absolute NO LACE rule. I was thrilled to find my dress made with Swarovski Crystal! I literally tried it on and bought it within 20 minutes!”

What was the most memorable moment?
“The most memorable moment was seeing Mark tear up as I walked down the aisle. I had arranged the song to be Jennifer Hudson, ‘Giving Myself.’ To keep him from crying I sang it to him, looking him in the eyes as I danced and smiled (like I did before the wedding) and he started to laugh and sing back to me.”

What was your first dance song?
“‘I Could Not Ask For More’ by Sara Evans.”

Tell us about your grand exit!
“We had a Grand EXIT planned. But the rain cancelled it. We were married in a venue attached to the Cumberland River Pedestrian Bridge in downtown Nashville. Our plan was all the guests with us would sing and dance across the bridge then continue the festivities all night together on Broadway. However at the end of our vows we faced the crowd and our wedding party put our “Hands UP!!” To DJ Khaled, All I Do Is Win! Quite fun!!”

Congratulations Tricia & Mark!
