Lindsey & Russell’s wedding day was straight out of a storybook! We love how their location, Howe Farms, complimented the navy & blush color scheme with panoramic vistas and wide open fields. The love they share for one another was evident throughout the day and captured beautifully by Waldrof Photographic Art. See all the sweet details below!
When did you know you were falling in love?
“We were in a long distance relationship for my first year of college. Every weekend he would drive two hours to come see me. He never missed a weekend. I knew I was falling in love with him during this time because I never wanted him to leave and I always looked forward to the weekend whenever he did have to leave. We would both do anything to be able to see each other.”
What is your favorite quality in your husband?
“My favorite quality in my husband is his love for God. I grew up in a Christian home, so this was something important to me. He is always making sure we are in church, reading our bible and praying together.”
Did you have a specific theme or design inspiration for your big day?
“I didn’t have a specific theme, but I wanted it to be my fairytale moment. I felt like a princess that day.”
How about your dress or attire?
“I absolutely loved my dress! It was a gorgeous princess dress with a long train. I felt like the most beautiful person in it. I didn’t want to take it off after the wedding was over.”
What was the most memorable moment?
“It is hard to narrow down to one most memorable moment, but I’d have to say walking down the aisle and seeing my husband is one of the most special moments from that day. In that moment, nobody else existed but us. It was so special, because we had waited for that moment for so long and it was finally happening.”
What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?
“We chose A Thousand Years for our first dance. We picked it out together and when we heard it, it seemed like it fit our life so perfect. We had waited so long for our big day to come and the song seemed perfect for us.”
Tell us about your grand exit!
“Our exit was magical! We walked through a line a sparklers surrounded by all of our loved ones. Once we got to the end of it, we got to watch an amazing Fireworks show and drove off to start our life together watching the Fireworks. It was a dream come true!”
Best wishes Lindsey & Russell!
