Did you know that the most popular month for weddings this year is the month of October? If so, do you know the most popular wedding date overall for 2017?
If you guessed October 7th, you’re right! I think we can all agree that fall weddings are absolutely stunning, especially here in the beautiful state of Tennessee. The turning leaves and the warm hues of the sunsets are simply incredible, and they make for some amazing photos to hang in your new home with your hubby. 🙂
Danielle from Danielle Evans Photography has photographed her fair share of autumn weddings and engagement sessions. Take a look at some of her fall-inspired work:
How’s that for some major wedding inspo?!
When people think of fall weddings, most tend to think of pumpkins and hues of red and orange. And that theme is certainly beautiful! However, if you love fall weddings & engagements, but you aren’t so crazy about the typical autumn trends, you can switch it up while still having that feeling of harvest in your special day!
As you can see in the images above, there are a plethora of alternative color palettes and trends to choose from in the fall. The burgundy wine color has been one of our favorites that we see in a lot of weddings toward the end of the year. This bold, warm tone gives off a romantic, autumn vibe that many brides long for without having to incorporate the usual oranges and browns.
Fall flowers are simply stunning, and they are the perfect addition to any engagement session or wedding day! Sunflowers, for example, are incredibly gorgeous, and they show off a happy, warm & loving affection in your photos. Another alternative for fall wedding decor is to incorporate warm rose golds and coppers. As we have mentioned before, these colors will be heavily trending this year throughout the wedding season, and they will fit perfectly into any autumn theme.
Of course, weddings are popular throughout the months of September and October, but what may be even more popular during that time are engagement sessions!
Each year when the leaves starting changing, loads of couples head out with their photographer for their engagement pictures!
And we don’t blame them! There is just something special about taking engagement photos in the fall. It’s a very romantic time of year and the landscape outdoors during that time make for the best backdrops! Whether they take place at the Farmer’s Market, in a field of your favorite flowers, or in the mountains with the falling leaves, you are sure to get some amazing shots and most importantly, to have those special memories to look back on.
