Have you followed The Pink Bride on Pinterest yet? I’ve been pinning images left and right, and I really must say: I’m in love with the Wedding Hair Styles board. That being said, I just couldn’t help but share a few of my favorite styles found so far. Each one is hopelessly romantic, simply timeless, and oh-so-chic with soft curls. Which one is your favorite? Discover a few options below, and click on over to The Pink Bride’s Pinterest account to get even more inspiration!
1. Large, soft curls in a side updo
I love how this style seems really “put together,” yet somehow soft and relaxed at the same time. This wedding updo is so on-trend right now with most of the curls gathered slightly off to one side. What else do I love, though? It’s definitely one of those styles I like to call a “stand-alone.” In other words, it’s so impacting on its own that you could easily nix the veil or large hairpiece and still look like a blushing bride in your stunning gown!
2. Gathered waves in a collection of curls
When it comes to updos, I have a wedding photographer friend who always says brides look so natural and stunning with updos that aren’t “tight,” as she calls them. I really couldn’t agree more! I adore the soft look of this classy bridal hair style. Soft, flowing waves are gathered in a symmetrical collection of delicate curls, yet there’s no defined “start” to a bun in sight. I’m in love!
3. Classy, reminiscent updo with soft curls
If you have thin hair or just like a little extra volume to your style, this bridal updo just might sweep you off your feet. I’m always entranced by hair styles similar to this, and I always feel conflicted about just why I love them! It’s classic, yet chic. It’s retro, yet modern. One thing’s entirely sure: it’s one gorgeous bridal updo!
4. Romantic, low updo with defined curls
I feel like this is a modern take on the more classic “high” updo with curls. This most definitely has a similar, stately appearance, yet it’s lower on the head – which might serve to make veil placement or a headpiece a lot easier to handle!
5. Ultra-chic bridal hair style with various style elements
Okay, so this one isn’t truly an updo – but I just couldn’t leave it off the list! I feel like this bridal hair style blends almost every component I hear brides request for their wedding hair: it’s a little up, a little down, modern and off to the side, braided but curled, arranged yet flowing…I could go on and on. This style would look simply stunning against pretty much any bridal attire!
