We cannot get over their refined, yet ultra romantic decor and details including the beautiful lanterns and candles all around! And who could forget the cute furry guest that helped the girls get ready! See more below with a little Q&A with the bride herself!

How did you meet?
“We met out at a restaurant bar in Hoboken, NJ. It was a Monday and I went out to meet a girlfriend and arrived first at the restaurant. The place was completely empty. I thought it was closed. At the far end of the bar was Kevin and his roommate having dinner and talking to the bartender. They called me over to join them, and I did as I waited for my friend. It turned out Kevin had broken up with his ex the day before, and his roommate took him to dinner just to get him out of the apartment and cheer him up. I had a glass of wine with them while I waited and ended up leaving to meet my friend somewhere else after about 10 minutes. I literally walked in an empty restaurant on a Monday, met him, and left. He found me later on Facebook and the rest is history!”

When did you know you were falling in love?
“A few months after we met, we went on vacation to Hawaii where he went to college. It was on that trip we shared that we were in love, though we both admitted we knew far before.”

What is your favorite quality in your husband?
“Aside from his unwavering support and love for me, we always say we are the same kind of ‘weird.’ We have the exact same sense of humor and laugh at the same silly things — that just makes life so fun.”

What traditions did you incorporate?
“Honestly, not many. We had a mutual best friend marry us, we didn’t have a wedding cake but choose bundtinis instead. The one thing I had to have was because I went to West Virginia University — you HAVE TO play ‘Country Roads’ by John Denver at your wedding as a proud WVU Mountaineer. That was a must.”

Did you have a specific theme or design inspiration for your big day?
“I just wanted a soft glow and tons of candles. As intimate as a setting for 200 people could be.”

How about your dress or attire?
“My dress was Pnina Tornai!”

What was the most memorable moment?
“The moment right after we said ‘I do.’ We went down to a little private room alone and just let it sink in that we had done it. We were married.”
What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?
“‘Black’ by Dierks Bentley. It’s not a ‘traditional’ first dance song, but when we started dating, the Black album had just come out, and we went to a Dierks concert on our third date. That song just became our song whenever it came on, so it had to be the first dance song for our wedding.”

Congratulations Rachel & Kevin!
