The Trip
“We wanted to go somewhere tropical and affordable,” Megan said of their romantic five day escape in the Bahamian city of Freeport. Megan and Nick combed through travel sites before settling on an all-inclusive island getaway.
Honeymoon Highlights
Swimming with the dolphins on a private island, snorkeling beautiful reefs, and sipping frozen mojitos couldn’t top their dinner on the beach. Surrounded by fresh salt air and white sandy mounds, Nick and Megan shared the romantic candlelit meal every couple dreams of. “The dinner was my favorite memory,” Nick said.
What To Do
When they weren’t exploring the sea, the newlyweds embraced local culture at the town squares. Known for being the only place visitors can see the island’s six ecosystems, Nick and Megan discovered an eco-tourist’s dream at Lucayan National Park.
