The Knoxville Pink Bridal Show on January 13th from 11am to 4pm at the Knoxville Convention Center was a complete success! We had an amazing time chatting with the brides-to-be and mingling around the show. Check out some of the highlights below.
We worked hard to get the registration areas and The Pink Room ready to greet brides as they arrived. Ruffles and Rouge Events displayed their breathtaking designs at the top registration level, while the amazing talents of Live, Laugh, Love Weddings and Ambiance Light Design (with Special Notes Entertainment Agency) created amazing displays on the second registration level, where brides and their groups lined up to head into the show! On the third level with the entrance to the show, Jennifer Laraia Designs created a chic event look that caught brides’ attention while walking into and out of the show.
Registration began as brides and guests arrived. Many thanks to the lovely ladies who helped us get everyone registered.
Brides (and grooms!) started meeting with many of Knoxville’s finest wedding professionals about their big day once inside. Many amazing deals and prizes were offered at this show!
The classy bar provided by the Knoxville Convention Center was again a source of interest, located just next to the concessions area!
Just before the fashion show at 12:30, brides, grooms, and their guests sat around our stage area to see Nashville band Goldy Locks perform their single, “It’s a Sure Great Day for a Wedding.” The crowd loved the band’s energy!
In between fashion shows and throughout the day, brides and their groups were spotted back in The Pink Room, lounging in our conversation furniture, taking photos at our new photo booth, and purchasing Pink shirts and bags at show-only prices!
Donna brought Jennifer Laraia of Jennifer Laraia Designs, Allison Gaddis of Live Laugh Love Weddings, and Shanna Vestice of Ruffles and Rouge Events up on the stage to talk about 2013 trends in weddings and general advice.
Before the second fashion show began at 2:30, Nicholas & Keaton Wedding Videography videoed as Andrew Holloway led us all in a dance-off of “Gangnam Style!” It was amazing – and hysterical. Stay tuned for the final video!
After this, Goldy Locks came back up on the stage and performed for the crowds again!
The second fashion show began afterwards, featuring the glorious styles found at Wedding Wonderland.
Fred brought Lisa, the new owner of Wedding Wonderland, on stage to do a gown giveaway. The winner was so excited!
The fabulous designers at Douglas J. Aveda Institute did the hair and makeup for the fashion shows, and we recognized them for all their hard work afterwards.
Fred and Donna drew prizes at 3:30, beginning with a quick quiz of what the grooms in the audience knew about their fiancés!
Special thanks to Sound Force Entertainment & Luma Designs for the sound, lighting, and staging at the show! Also, a big thanks goes out to White Table for the linens and chair covers at the stage area. Claire Queisser served as fashion show coordinator for the day, too. We also can’t thank Nicholas & Keaton enough for their fabulous videography skills! These wedding professionals are fabulous and truly make our show a huge success.
We had an amazing time at the show, and we’re so excited that you did, too! Tell us about your show experiences in the comments below.
Plan to join us at the next Knoxville Pink Bridal Show on August 18, 2013!
