We kicked off 2017 with a bang at the Knoxville Convention Center on January 8th!
Even the weather, with snow, ice, and chilly temps, couldn’t put us out or the hundreds of guests that came to see our new re-imagined Pink Bride Wedding Show! This show was unlike any other with over 150 wedding professionals displaying their work, our new pink carpet, and live performances. The one thing that remained the same was the opportunities for engaged couples to plan their dream wedding in one day!
When you attend a Pink Bride Wedding Show, you receive exclusive show-only special offers, and fantastic giveaways, chow down on delicious food, and the best part: plan YOUR wedding with the area’s best wedding professionals!
Guests were able to stroll on the pink carpet alongside beautiful gowns from local bridal salons The Gilded Gown, Loveliest Bridal, and White Lace and Promises. Major wedding inspo as soon as we walked in the door!
And for the grooms in attendance – Regal Tuxedo displayed dapper tuxedos that would make even the most casual guy want to take a look.
Speaking of the guys, they were on the hot seat first, with Executive VP of The Pink Bride, Allison Jacob posing a few fun questions about their lovely wives-to-be to start our fashion show festivities.
It was all worth it when they were able to walk away with a set of FREE wedding bands!
Peyton Rhodes, our beautiful Knoxville cover bride, greeted guests with her wedding photographer, Katherine Birkbeck, and gave brides her tips for planning a wedding.
One of my favorite parts of this show was the charitable donation during the first fashion show which started at 1 pm. For each blowing-a-kiss selfie posted by a bride-to-be, David’s Bridal donated $1 to Bright Pink, a breast cancer research charity.
Our runway models sported stunning hair and flawless makeup, thanks to Bangs and Blush. They carried lovely bouquets from LB Floral and Melissa Timm Designs which complemented their David’s Bridal gowns. Sound Force kept the party rocking as these lovely ladies and gents strutted their stuff!
After the first fashion show, Farewell Angelina, one of country music’s hottest new groups, performed live!
After their set, couples had a chance to meet and greet with the ladies. Most exciting of all was the special prize drawing, as one lucky couple won an appearance and performance by Farewell Angelina at their own wedding!
Between our fashion shows, couples got the chance to explore and meet more potential wedding professionals for their wedding.
Our second fashion show, featuring The Gilded Gown and Regal Tuxedo, left brides and grooms swooning!
Who could forget our mother and daughter duos who danced their way to some cash!
The Pink Bride’s Cash for Contracts giveaway was a big hit and most helpful to brides and grooms in the planning process.
When these 16 lucky couples book the Pink Pro of their choice, we help pay a portion of the cost! Congrats to you guys!
We also drew a lucky winner who received tickets to hear the renowned and oh-so-chic event planner, Tara Guerard, as she presents at The Antiques & Garden Show in Nashville.
We would like to thank Sound Force for providing our sound, draping, lighting, and the awesome stage set-up, and White Table for their beautiful chair draping.
And thank you to all of our engaged couples, guests, and especially the fabulous wedding pros who make The Knoxville Pink Bride Wedding Show® the largest and most inspiring wedding event in town!
