One of Tennessee’s best places to eat and host events is the fabulous Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Knoxville. This gem of a restaurant has a beautiful setting near urban downtown, a fabulous staff, and impeccable food selections for every palette. When Kara Lovett, The Pink Bride’s Knoxville and Chattanooga Advertising Director, announced that the company’s next networking meeting for wedding professionals in and around Knoxville would be hosted at the famed restaurant, I just knew the event would be a sight to see – and it truly was! From the personalized goody bags from Ruth’s Chris to the amazing food selections, the evening was a huge hit.
Of course, The Pink Bride’s amazing networking events wouldn’t be nearly as fabulous as they are without the help of some of Knoxville’s finest wedding professionals! Shawna Frazier with Ruth’s Chris helped Kara organize the entire event from start to finish, and she did a truly amazing job. Cheryl Hyland with White Table provided the gorgeous linens for the event, and Melissa Timm with Melissa Timm Designs created the stunning floral centerpieces seen on each table. Corey Ozair with Music In Motion Mobile Entertainment gave the event that coveted “pink” feel with glamorous pink uplighting, too! The Pink Bride would like to extend sincere thanks to these professionals for taking the time to provide such impeccable services for the event.
Most of the Knoxville Pink Bride team gathered in front of the uplighting for a group photo before the event began. Seen below from left to right are Kara Lovett; Fred Jacob, CEO and President; Donna Jacob, Contract Manager and Editor; and Karen Tobias, Production Manager.
As some of Knoxville’s finest wedding professionals arrived, each of them was encouraged to register to win a $100 gift certificate to Ruth’s Chris Steak House. The crowds began lining up for food shortly after arriving, and they also enjoyed drinks from the bar.
The Pink Bride decided to take a very relaxed approach to this event, making sure each wedding professional was given the opportunity to introduce him or herself and enjoy the food and stimulating conversation throughout the evening. Fred chatted a little bit about the wedding industry while guests continued to eat.
Kara then spoke about opportunities with The Pink Bride as well as ways to get the most out of the networking event!
Afterwards, Shawna announced that the bartender had created a complimentary “Pink Shot” for guests to enjoy! Everyone loved the yummy drink and toasted to a successful meeting. Shawna then drew names from the collection of registered guests for the $100 gift card to Ruth’s Chris, and Melissa Timm with Melissa Timm Designs was the winner!
The wedding professionals then began mingling and networking as the evening drew to a close.
