Bright pink roses, fluffy white hydrangeas, and some of the sweetest heartfelt moments captured by Kadee’s Approach Photography, this wedding in Tri-Cities will have you saying “Awww!” from the start! We can’t get enough of the fun and the sense of community that rallied behind Shannon and Brandon on their big day! Meet The Grahams below with behind-the-scenes commentary from the bride herself!

How did you meet?
“We met in high school and were friends throughout high school. It was not until my senior year of high school and his freshman year of college that we began dating. I went to Presbyterian College to visit my sister and he was there visiting a friend. From there, our relationship began and flourished for five and a half years before our marriage.”

When did you know you were falling in love?
“On one of my many road trips to visit Brandon at Wofford College where our fondest memories, including our engagement, took place.”

What is your favorite quality in your husband?
“His patience!”

Did you have a specific theme or design inspiration for your big day?
“We knew right away that we wanted our colors to be pale pink and navy. We also knew we wanted a more formal traditional wedding. We used lots of flowers to accomplish this goal. We also used many multi color flowers in memory of my grandmother who loved gardening before passing away two years ago. Our florist was able to incorporate flowers from my grandmother’s garden into some our floral arrangements, which added such a special touch to our wedding day. We added gold mercury glass vases and votives to each table to add a touch a glitz and glam. To top it all off, the scenery of our venue was absolutely breathtaking.”

What was the most memorable moment?
“One of the most memorable moments for me as a bride was opening a box of letters planned and organized by my maid of honor and sister. She had all of my loved ones, including the groom and his family, write letters for me to open on the morning of our wedding.
Also, Brandon and I both enjoyed our first look. It was a time for us to soak in the beauty of our wedding together before the actual ceremony. It was such a special moment that we will cherish forever.”

What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?
“‘I Get to Love You’ by Ruelle. The words of this song spoke so clearly to our relationship. God blessed us with the opportunity to love each other so well, and we are beyond thankful for that! It was also a song that my best friend could sing. She sang this song at our reception and the recording of her singing it was used for our wedding video.”

Happily Ever After, Shannon & Brandon!
