We are absolutely loving the combination of the slate blue and blush pink at Abby and Michael’s wedding. A perfect pairing with the surrounding greenery to create that natural, woodsy feel. We have all the heart eyes for this sweet couple and their special day. Read all the details below!
How did you meet?
“We met in an ice cream shop.”
When did you know you were falling in love?
“It wasn’t one moment that I can definitively say I fell in love with him. It was little by little. A big stock pile of all the happy memories and love and thoughtfulness. I just one day realized that he was my forever.”
What is your favorite quality in your husband?
“He listens to me, no matter how silly or dramatic my stores are.”
Hardest part of wedding planning?
“Finding catering to meet all of our allergies!”
Did you have a specific theme or design inspiration for your big day?
“Not really. Natural. Lots of flowers and greenery and natural wood.”
How about your dress or attire?
“I wore my mom’s dress. She wore it in 1989 when she married my dad. We had it completely remade to be more modern and more tailored to my style.”
What was the most memorable moment?
“His vows. He had them written out, but decided to speak from the heart instead. It was amazing.”
What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?
“Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing by Aerosmith. It was the first song we danced to at my senior prom.”
Tell us about your grand exit!
“We were the last ones out, actually. We did a sparkler send off when the light was right, but the back went back to the dance floor and partied until our rental ran out. Then we hit up the local skate rink and partied some more!”
Best wishes Abby & Michael
