What do you get when you combine country and rustic with a little boujee at the same time (as the bride says)? Well, you get her undeniably beautiful wedding day! We just know that you are going to not only fall in love over it, but also this couple! Our favorite part is her reaction before walking down the aisle! See more for yourself below with stunning images by Kelsey Shea Photography!

How did you meet?
“A mutual friend’s Christmas Party!”
When did you know you were falling in love?
“We were long distance for the first 2 years of our relationship and I traveled a lot for work. We went several weeks without seeing each other and I couldn’t stand it. I realized we were going to have to figure this out because I wasn’t doing that again!”

What is your favorite quality in your husband?
“Determined and hard working. He is also the most honest person I know, and I know he will always give it to me straight, whether I want to hear it or not. I know I can count on him.”

Hardest part of wedding planning?
“Luckily, I had a great wedding planner. But seriously, who knew there was that many details and just ‘things’ that had to be done and decided on. I guess the hardest part of staying organized.”

Did you have a specific theme or design inspiration for your big day?
“Rustic chic. Something like Chip and Joanna. Country and rustic, but a little boujee at the same time!”

How about your dress or attire?
“I wore a Theia Couture dress. I honestly couldn’t tell you the shape. Fitted up top and loose down below! The dress was the silk/polyester with some beading up top. It was comfortable, light, and stunning when I wore it.”

What was the most memorable moment?
“The moment right before my dad and I went to walk down the aisle. I am not an emotional person, and I just started crying. I looked at my dad and said, ‘Oh my gosh tell me to get it together, I cannot ugly cry going down the aisle. Fan my eyes!’”

What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?
“‘Tennessee Whiskey’ by Chris Stapleton. Honestly we both just love that song and it’s sweet.”
Tell us about your grand exit!
“Well technically we didn’t have one. We wanted the band to play as long as possible, the photographer/video crew to hang out and capture the fun, and just keep the party going. We didn’t really feel the need to walk down a tunnel of our friends just to leave. I mean, we already did that and made everyone cry during our ceremony. Our grand exit was carrying out leftover beer and hopping in an Uber to go to the hotel.”

Best wishes Lindsey & Elijah!
