We love this Memphis wedding for so many reasons. Like the stunning vintage venue, the charming rustic details, the music-inspired decor, but most importantly how sweet this couple and their love story is! Elishia who we’ve worked with numerous times has always been a friendly face to the engaged couples who come to our shows and such a huge help to her clients. Sooo it is super exciting to be able to celebrate HER wedding below! Start scrolling to see it all & get some behind-the-scenes details from Elishia herself.

What was the hardest part of planning your rustic music-inspired wedding?
“Letting go of the reins from being a wedding planner. It was hard to allow someone else to be in charge.”

What is your favorite quality in your husband/wife?
“His musical talent.” — And wait to see how they incorporated this into their big day!

When did you know you were falling in love?
“He was my first love in high school 20 years ago- but when we reconnected it was the way he looked into my eyes.”

Favorite aspect of your wedding?
“The decorations!”

Did you have any specific design inspiration for your big day?
“I love greenery and the used guitars since that is how we fell in love.”

Did you do a first look? Would you recommend this?
“Yes, absolutely!”

Was there a part of your wedding that held a personal significance to you or your spouse?
“He sang to me while playing his guitar!”

What was your first dance song?
“‘Making the Movies Jealous’ by Kristen McNamara. We chose this song because all of our friends tell us that our love is something you see on the big screen.”

Tell us about your grand exit!
“We had sparklers and confetti. It was amazing.”

What do you look forward to most as newlyweds?
“Making up for all of the years we lost!”

What has surprised you most during the first few months of marriage?
“How you can love someone more each day and the ability we have to calm each other down with just a smile.”

Congratulations again Elishia & Tim!
