It should to come to no surprise that we at The Pink Bride love love. We’re all about it in fact! So it should also be no surprise that Valentine’s Day is one of our favorite holidays! Not that it should be the only day to celebrate your love, but it is a good excuse to dress up and go to your favorite fancy restaurant or have an at-home intimate night between the two of you!
When we saw this super fun shoot by Denver photographers, Julia and Ken Photography, we thought it was perfect for a little Valentine’s Day inspiration! And of course, we adore the color palette. See more below with tips on how to incorporate some of these elements into your big day!
Pops of Color
One of our favorite aspects of this shoot is the bright background! To incorporate something similar in your wedding day, the key is to stay within a monochromatic theme! Have one or two features be in a bold shade like flowers or a piece of your attire, while playing soft with others like your linens or stationery.
The mid-century aesthetic here pairs perfectly with an all pink theme! It provides such a fun atmosphere for the entire day, too! If you love this idea, consider hosting your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, or reception in a unique venue. Think a studio or art museum!
It’s All in the Details
From the pink velvet Sam Edelman pumps to the gorgeous pear-shaped stunning ring, we are gushing over each and every detail of this shoot! While it is so easy to get lost in the details and planning madness that comes with trying to achieve your dream day, focusing on three or four important elements can help narrow down your decisions. For instance, having a personalized vow book for each of you is not a only a special moment during your nuptials, but also a great memento to keep later on!
Happy Valentine’s Day lovebirds!
