I adore wedding engagement photos that truly capture the emotion of the moment.
Will and Kaitlin’s Nashville engagement session embodies just that! I love how the images highlight the couple’s love for each other, framed in a soft sunset that’s both romantic and surreal. Nashville is one of The Pink Bride’s favorite spots in Tennessee for an outstanding, unique wedding day, so we know great things are up ahead for this sweet duo!

How they met!
Kaitlin & Will met about 3 years ago at Trivia Night at the restaurant Cabana in Hillsboro Village. Will’s older brother Drew and Kaitlin’s high school friend Reed had invited a group of friends to attend trivia. Kaitlin and Will had an instant attraction.
Will asked Kaitlin’s Dad for Kaitlin’s hand in marriage in May of 2014. Will purchased a ring (of Kaitlin’s dreams) in September. On October 25, 2014, Will had planned for their friends to plan a brunch at German Town Cafe. The brunch was a distraction while Kaitlin’s family was flying in from out of town and setting up at Will and Kaitlin’s house. After brunch, Will and Kaitlin returned to their house, and Will walked in first and went straight to the kitchen to “check on” our new puppy, Brave. Will called for Kaitlin to come into the kitchen and when Kaitlin turned the corner she saw Will standing there with a sign (and our puppy) that read “Mommy, will you Marry Dad?” Kaitlin was so excited, she can barely remember what happened next, all she knows is she said “YES!” After a few minutes of hugging, kissing and crying for joy, Will called out, “Is anyone else here?” Two by two, Will’s family proceeded down the stairs. After a moment of rejoicing, he called out again, “Isn’t there anyone else up there?” Kaitlin immediately dropped to the floor bawling as she saw her parents and siblings walk down the stairs. Having their families present was exactly what Kaitlin had hoped for when she imagined a proposal. The families then had a champagne toast and took pictures. After pictures, Kaitlin immediately went and got her nails done. 🙂
Later that evening, the families planned to go to Kaitlin and Will’s favorite restaurant, Tokyo. On the way to dinner, they stopped at Will’s cousin’s for a drink and, much to Kaitlin’s surprise, she walked in to find a surprise Engagement Party with all their friends and families, hosted by the families. It was the perfect day.
Will and Kaitlin will marry at The Bell Tower in downtown Nashville on September 12, 2015.
