Catie and Tyler’s wedding at Southern Charm Venue in Cleveland, Tennessee will definitely have you swooning! We adore how thoughtful this couple is when it not only comes to their relationship, but also with the details of their wedding too! So many special mementos were included to make this day unforgettable for them, and we can’t get enough!
What is your favorite quality in your husband/wife?
“Our constant effort to work together as a team, never pawning things off on each other, but always willing to help each other out. It’s the little things, like working together in the yard, or organizing & cleaning the house!”
When did you know you were falling in love?
“When I saw his color-coordinated closet! Haha!”
What traditions did you incorporate?
“We didn’t see or speak to each other the day of the wedding, until that first glimpse as I walked down the aisle. I had something old, new borrowed, & blue.”
What was the most memorable moment?
“The entire day was so memorable, it’s hard to pick just one! However, I will never forget walking down the aisle to my handsome husband-to-be.”
Did you include any special mementos in your day?
“I wore my mom’s ring with our birthstone, that was handed down by my grandmother on my right hand. My mom also surprised me by having my grandfather’s handkerchief with a blue “S” embroidered on it, tied to my bouquet, so I had my papaw by my side on my wedding day.
My dad & uncle also did roast a pig overnight on-site at the venue for our guests to enjoy. It was cooked in the smoker that my Uncle Bobby (who passed away) built, so it was like a piece of my uncle was at the wedding, too.”
What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?
“‘My Girl’ by Dylan Scott. It describes me in so many ways & Tyler always sings it to me while we dance in the kitchen. It just seemed so fitting!”
Tell us about your grand exit!
“As we exited the reception surrounded by friends, family, and sparklers, Tyler swept my off of my feet & my dress swirled in the air making for a BEAUTIFUL picture that we will treasure forever.”
Best wishes Catie & Tyler!
