1. Photobooths are classically cool, but flipbooks are even better.

Everyone loves a good wedding photobooth at a reception, but A Super Party has taken it a step further.

“Our newest thing is the digital flipbook,” says Michael.” We take a twenty-second video of the subject on a green screen, and in a matter of minutes, your guests have a mini flipbook in their hands. You choose the background and props, and we’ll take care of the rest.”

2. Invitations don’t have to be a headache. Customize them online!

Many paper shops are offering online DIY templates where you can either mix and match fonts and colors to your specifications for your wedding invitations or literally just add the names and details and be done. One thing is certain though: try to get your wedding invitations printed and sent out as soon as possible (around six weeks out) so that you know the size of the guest list. This will help you in all other planning, from the venue to the food and beyond.

“If you need further help, we’re here for you,” offers Ashley. “I can help you with anything from wording, to matching colors, to the weight of the paper. Our supplier also offers samples that you can choose between before you make your final decision.”

3. Balloons aren’t just for birthday parties anymore.

Balloons tend to be thought of only for birthdays or proms, but so much more can be done with them. Brides are opting to use them for table toppers in their wedding designs as well as for their send off at the end of the night. Balloons can add bright pops of color or add to the ambiance of a reception venue. They also come in many different shapes and sizes, so literally thousands of different décor ideas exist for incorporating them into your big day!

A Super Party is located in Kingsport and carries invitations (online and in-store), personalized napkins, and catering and bachelorette party supplies. They also will soon feature the David Tutera collection. Check them out on their website, and also be sure to connect with them on Facebook for a weekly special!
