As I was helping proof our latest issue of the Knoxville Pink Bride Magazine, I came across the most hilarious, amazing, and downright epic advertisement for a wedding professional that I’d ever seen. Naturally, it was created by the amazing visionary talents of Casey and Zack Peddicord, the team of brothers behind phenomenal Knoxville wedding videography company, Nicholas & Keaton Cinematography! (Be sure to grab the latest issue of the Knoxville magazine to check out their ad.)
This was the first time I’d heard about them rebranding with a new logo and website (which was already hopelessly entertaining to begin with!). I immediately emailed our Knoxville Advertising Director Kara Lovett to let her know how much I loved the ad, and she asked if I would mind to do a feature about the new website. I said absolutely! It’s not every day that a wedding professional comes up with such an entertaining, serious-but-not online presence. I featured the brothers in a Spotlight post on our archived blog site when they first became advertisers with us, so I couldn’t wait to follow up with this post. And after all, they created the monumental “Call Me Maybe” video at last season’s Knoxville Pink Bridal Show, so I already knew they had ridiculously creative talents that make writing about them a breeze!
The new website and branding really embodies everything that the brothers bring to the most important day of your life. From laid-back fun and bow ties the day-of to impeccably captured memories in motion that you’ll cherish for a lifetime, Nicholas & Keaton will provide what you need and so much more. I always say that a website is a lot like a book for me: the opening paragraph – or sometimes just the first line – can either make me keep reading or put the book down for good. Similarly, a website has to catch my attention when it first loads, or the risk of me not spending much time there increases dramatically. Not surprisingly, the Nicholas & Keaton Cinematography website is exactly the type of website to make me click through – on every link – just to see what’s on the next page!
In fact, you see quite entertaining pictures of the brothers just goofing off when you first visit their new website, with the tagline, “not your average video guys,” front and center, along with a short-and-sweet welcome. I was hooked the instant I saw it! These little details are a sure tribute to the fact that, while they consider their work and your final product on a very serious level, they definitely don’t take themselves too seriously. How can you not love that in a wedding professional? Learn more about the rebranding efforts by reading about it on their blog.
Nicholas & Keaton Cinematography offers impeccable services with the kind of laid-back yet professional approach that every bride wants and needs on the biggest day of her life. The two wedding professionals who will likely be on your heels for most of the day will be your photographer and your videographer, so the way you interact with him or her, whether snapping photos or videoing, truly sets the tone for the whole day.
Do Casey and Zack of Nicholas & Keaton Cinematography sound like the perfect non-average video guys for the biggest day of your life? Definitely go and take a look-see at their amazing new website to learn more, and be sure to connect with them via Facebook, Twitter, and their Vimeo page. Better yet, come and meet them in person at our Knoxville Pink Bridal Show on January 13th – you won’t regret it! Tell Casey and Zack that The Pink Bride sent you!
