You are in for a real treat with this classic white and champagne wedding filled with beautiful greenery and such sweet details! After 9 years of dating, you can bet that Blaire and Kyle wanted every moment and detail to be reminiscent of their relationship and journey, and let me tell you they hit it out of the park! With such a thoughtful couple, this wedding was bound to be absolutely magical. See it all below with comments from the bride!
How did you meet?
“We were best friends in high school and then realized there was something more in our friendship. We began dating in December of 2009!”
When did you know you were falling in love?
“We already had a loving friendship and by the second year of our dating relationship we knew God put us in each other’s life for a reason.”
What is your favorite quality in your husband/wife?
“My favorite quality in Kyle is his positivity and supportive love. Kyle’s favorite quality about me is how I wholeheartedly care for everyone I meet.”
What traditions did you incorporate?
“We incorporated many traditions into our wedding weekend. First, my engagement ring band is made up of my mother’s diamonds from her wedding ring. I took her center diamond and created a new ring to give to her on our wedding day. Kyle’s grandparents, parents, uncle and cousins were all married at the same church as us. We each carried our late grandparents with us down the aisle through family heirlooms.”
Did you have a specific theme or design inspiration for your big day?
“Our inspiration for our day was our relationship itself. We created a mission statement for our wedding which was to thank our friends and family for the love and support they have shown us over the years. We desired to mimic the love of Christ through hospitality and thoughtfulness of event elements.”
“From our hotel accommodations to our signature drinks, we put thought and purpose behind every detail. The color palette was white and champagne with pops of color through greenery and florals to symbolize our relationship being renewed through Christ. The lucite tables and chairs reflected light beautifully which brought subtle sparkle to everything signifying the celebration of marriage.”
“Our food was stationed as individual meals all which were thoughtfully chosen for our guests preferences. Our late night snack was Hard Knox Pizza and bottled coke which was our favorite date night spot! Our party favors were chocolate chip cookies from Tate’s, our favorite cookies.”
How about your dress or attire?
“My wedding gown was a traditional ball gown that embodied chic elements of an illusion deep V bodice and satin skirt with pockets. The lace details were a nod to my southern heritage and late grandmother who had an appreciation for hand made lace. My shoes were a geometric heel with blue insoles for my something blue. My something old and something borrowed was a beautiful gold, diamond and sapphire bracelet that Kyle’s mother received on the day he was born.”
What was the most memorable moment?
“Kyle and I chose not to have a first look since we had long awaited our wedding day. We decided to exchange letters and gifts and share in prayer prior to the ceremony by standing around a corner. Those few moments spent just listening to one another without seeing each other was truly a magical moment!”
What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?
“‘I Love You More Today Than Yesterday.’ We chose this song because it reigns true in our relationship. We are blessed to have known each other for so long and that our love grows stronger every single day.”
Tell us about your grand exit!
“We chose to exit in Kyle’s family restored Land Rover Defender as some of our favorite dates included riding in it with the top down! His dad decked the car in lights as we exited through a tunnel of rose petals and sparklers!”
Best wishes Blaire & Kyle!
