We are head over heels in love with this wedding that combines classic and traditional elements with natural and modern ones. The love between Ashley and Taylor is heartwarming, and the amazing Tara from Tara Kneiser Photography was able to truly capture it in her photographs! We just adore a romantic outdoor wedding, and Ashley and Taylor really delivered!
Ashley and Taylor’s decor is hard to beat! Featuring soft pinks, white, and natural green tones, it creates a super romantic and calm vibe. It’s relaxed, carefree and not overwhelming, but still manages to look elegant and beautiful!
This lush and private mountaintop is the absolutely perfect location for Ashley and Taylor’s romantic union. The natural feel of the wedding goes perfectly since the venue allows you to be so in touch with the nature surrounding you. When we asked Ashley how she would describe her wedding, she responded “A celebration in the woods,” and that’s exactly what it is! There is nothing artificial about this location, and Ashley and Taylor got the real deal when it comes to having a woodland celebration!
The Beautiful Bride
Ashley was an absolute vision in her lace-backed gown that goes oh-so-perfectly with the elegant woodland theme! Her fingertip-length veil is the perfect romantic addition to her bridal look, and her bridesmaids blush pink gowns tie the theme together flawlessly. We love her soft curls and simple makeup, and the whole look is pulled together by her happy smile!
Arguably one of the best parts of a wedding (for the guests at least) is the dinner! Ashley and Taylor did not disappoint; their menu was not only delicious, but visually appealing as well! In addition to the food being tasty, there were a few dishes that had some special meaning for the happy couple. “We’re not super traditional but we wanted to incorporate meaningful elements from the cities we lived. Our guests toasted with beer local to Birmingham, where we met, and tasted Clumpies Ice Cream from Chattanooga, where we live now,” Ashley explained.
Your wedding is an amazing day that is filled with love and memories that will last a lifetime! Ashley told us her favorite memory from their big day that she, Taylor, and her sister will always cherish. “As I was standing in front of our officiant during our ceremony, a bee kept hovering around my bouquet. My Matron of Honor (my sister) tried to swat it away and proceeded to erupt in laughter. I started shaking from laughing so hard, and our poor pastor almost busted up!”
Congratulations Ashley and Taylor, from all of us at The Pink Bride!
